Talk PANTS Parent’s guide

We want all parents to talk PANTS. That’s why we’ve created this guide to help them find the right words to talk to their children about staying safe.

We know it’s a conversation no parent wants to have, but we believe it can feel just as natural, and be just as easy, as talking about things like crossing the road safely.

From P through to S, each letter gives an important message for children as young as four to help them stay safe – like that their body belongs to them, they have the right to say no and they should tell an adult if they feel worried or upset about anything.

This handy guide includes advice on how to have the conversation, links to our series of ‘Icebreakers’ which make it easy to start talking PANTS as well as a fun pull out and keep kids section to help them learn the rules.
