CORE-INFO: Bruises On Children

A leaflet about how to differentiate accidental from non-accidental bruises.

Bruises On Children is one of a series of information leaflets on aspects of physical child abuse based on a collaborative piece of work by the NSPCC and CORE-INFO (Welsh Child Protection Systematic Review Group).

The leaflet shows that some common assumptions about bruising in children cannot be substatiated and it provides guidance as to when to be concerned about the possibility of non-accidental injury.
